Leadership

Phil co-founded Infrastructure Design Group, Inc. in 2012 in Sioux Falls, SD and serves as President.  He’s helped the company grow from two employees in 2012 to nearly thirty full-time employees today.  Along with his work ethic, Phil’s years of experience focused on transportation and municipal engineering related services has contributed to the company’s success. His trusted relationships developed over his career have developed into a dedicated client list and several trusted teaming partners.  His leadership and mentorship in the office is helping the next generation succeed.

Phil is married and a proud father of four. He’s actively involved in his church, his children’s activities, and the community.  He is a proud graduate of South Dakota State University with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is a Professional Engineer registered in South Dakota and Iowa. Phil has always found time to demonstrate his commitment to the engineering profession and has been an active member of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) since 2003. He has served in many roles in both the local and state levels of the South Dakota Engineering Society.  He currently serves as a national board member for NSPE.  Phil is also an active member in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).

Robert joined Infrastructure Design Group, Inc. in 2013 as a VP/Partner and still serves in that role today. Prior to joining InfrastructureDG he spent six years surveying in Colorado and ten years working at another Sioux Falls firm as a field surveyor and department manager. He has been very fortunate to work on many large-scale Cadastral Mapping projects over the past 25 years and that experience has been very beneficial in building InfrastructureDG’s client list and survey team.

Along with being a dedicated husband and father of three, he is dedicated to the Land Surveying profession and stays active within several land surveying societies and the Southeast Technical College advisory board. Robert graduated from Southeast Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology. He holds his Professional Land Surveyors License in South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska. Outside of work he focuses most of his time on his kids’ sports activities, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling with his family.

Beau became a part of Infrastructure Design Group, Inc. in 2013 as a Vice President/Partner with a focus on the Land Surveying department within the company. Before joining this great venture, Beau spent his first 10+ years completing a vast variety of land surveying projects as a Crew Chief. He completed projects that consisted of surveying oil pump stations from Canada to Kansas, cadastral retracement surveys for hundreds of miles in multiple surrounding states, as well as smaller topographic & boundary surveys for municipal & private projects within the Sioux Falls area. Along with managing the Land Surveying department, he also provides leadership and management in all departments within the company where he focuses on a team approach.

Beau loves his family life that consists of 3 daughters, amazing wife, and more animals than he can count! When he isn’t enjoying life with his girls, he is very active in his professional societies. Beau has been an active member in his state and national societies where he’s been the South Dakota Director for the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) as well as the current president of the Big Sioux Chapter for the South Dakota Society of Professional Land Surveyors (SDSPLS). Beau currently holds his Professional Surveyors License in South Dakota.
