Infrastructure Design Group, along with HDR and Confluence, provided the City of Sioux Falls and SDDOT Local Government Office with planning and design services for the project. The project encompassed preliminary and final design of the over 3-mile-long corridor from Sycamore Avenue to the Willow Run entrance. Project scope elements included traffic and drainage analysis, environmental commitments, horizontal & vertical geometrics, off-street bike paths, lighting, water main, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, private utility coordination, low-profile barrier median, an extensive public involvement campaign and Construction Administration & Observation.
